[VA-9235] - Docparser integration
- Versa has added Docparser Integration as a new feature Only firms with this feature can use this integration.
- Docparser is a powerful document processing tool designed to extract data from PDF files, scanned documents, and other types of business documents. It uses OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and advanced parsing rules to convert unstructured data into structured data that can be easily used for various business processes.
- Docparser can be used to automatically scan .pdf of Supplier Bills received via email into the Versa Cloud ERP system. This can substantially streamline the Accounts Payable process. Using an automated system instead of manually entering Supplier Bills ensures that the Supplier Bill data is accurately extracted and seamlessly integrated into your ERP system.
- Contact Versa Cloud ERP Support on how to get the Docparser integration.
[VA-9276] - Salesforce integration: Change quote date for imported quote from closed opportunity
- Currently in Versa, we are using the opportunity date for an imported quote from Sales Force. using a more recent date (since opportunity may take a long time to close), would be best.
- Either the closed date of the opportunity or the date we imported the quote into the system
[VA-9301] - Show BOM items on pick list and complete build from picklist
When a order contains BOM product that needs to be made (because there is no stock), we want to support building the BOM product on the picklist page.
- Create work order for order item has a product with a BOM defined and has no inventory
We already create work order (by checking the work order checkbox of a new sales order item form).
- Modify picklist to show more details about BOM and its components
We have a new setting for Picklist (setup>feature settings>picklist). "Show BOM and Work Order Details on Picklist". When this setting is on, display picklist with additional details as below.
Display with a header "To Pick"
This will be the current display list of product(s) to pick. No change but hiding product that has a work order associated with it (because it will be listed in the to build area below)
(a) Product from Order Items that are in Stock and that can be Picked from Stock and Shipped. This include product with BOM but there is stock so there is no need to build it.
Display with a header "To Build"
(b) Product from Order items that have work order associated with it. These items need to be built via work order
Display with a header "Components Needed"
(c) Components of BOM Products from order Items with work orders(BOM components of product in B) that are that are in stock
Group the products by work orders. For each work order, user can click on a button to build the work order (which will allocate the BOM items and close it).
Repeat the to build and component need for work order area for each additional work order. There can be multiple order items with BOM product and each BOM will be linked to a work order.
Display with a header 'Items Not On Picklist / Not Being Fully Picked / Components Needed To Build' and change from current title of "Items Not On Picklist or Not Being Fully Picked" . This area is only visible if the setting " Show Order Items Not on Picklist or Short Items on Picklist Page " is on.
- Changed work order to produce inventory item like production build
Work order currently generates a deliverable that is attached to the work order and it does not show up as inventory item. Added a new setting to allow work order to produce inventory item like production build. Upon production of the new inventory item, the inventory is allocated to the associated sales order (if the work order has related sales order item).
Added a new setting to Feature settings, BOM, ;Create New Inventory Upon Closing of Work Order which will make work order behave like production build
