QA Checklist List For Bills of Material (BOM)

This is a BETA feature and not generally available.

Overview

You can create an interactive checklist for your BOMs in Versa. This is used after the BOM item is built in work order or production builds.

The checklist consists of items used in the work order or production build and additional things you defined as items to check.

First activate the checklist by going to Setup, Feature Settings, Bills of Material. Check the checkbox Use Quality Checklist with Work Order.  When this is checked, You will show a link to the quality check list when viewing a work order or production build that has been completed.

Users can define product specific checklist which will be shown as additional items on the quality check list. You will first create the QA checklist items as operations in Production menu, Operations. Then define a QA checklist in Production menu, Setup, QA check list. Each checklist item will have an order number assigned to determine its position in the checklist.

After checklists are defined, you can go to each product and find the QA checklist field to associate a product to a checklist.

Checklist Item Compositions

The check list items for a work order or build comes from 3 places.

Products used in the build/work order. 

Each product used in the build/work order can have its own checklist defined by users.

If the work order or build is associated to a BOM, the product associated to the BOM can also have its own checklist.

Viewing Checklist

When viewing a completed work order or production build, there is a link 'QA Check List'. Click on in will show a page with all the checklist items. You will check the checkbox for each item to indicate you have completed the item.
