Upload Product Images Through FTP

First deposit all your product images in a FTP folder. The image must have the part number of the products in its name in order for the import to match images to products.  Instruction to how to set up a FTP server is not provided here.

Set up you FTP server information. Go to Tools menu, imports and exports, Product Image Import. Click on Manage FTP servers to add your FTP location first. You would need to provide the host name, login, password, port number, catalog (root folder name) and notification email to receive import results. If you FTP server is configured to work in passive mode, check the option.

Lastly, go back to Tools menu, imports and exports, Product Image Import. Start the importing process by select the FTP server to import from. Check the use partial match option to allow matching of image names to products when any part of the image file name includes the part number of products. The images would be processed and uploaded to products if matched. You will be notified by email when then importing is done.
