Deleting Parts

You can delete a part as follows:

If you are not already on the User Screen, click the User Screen hyperlink on the top navigation bar.
Click on the Parts hyperlink on the side navigation bar. (Under the Inventory heading)
Click on the Listing by Part Number hyperlink on the Item Management view.
Click on the [X] hyperlink at the very right of the part you wish to delete.
Click Yes in the confirmation dialogue box to complete the deletion process.

Note that a part can only be deleted if there are no accounting transactions associated with it. Also, the doomed part can not be related to any Products currently on any Sales Orders or Purchase Orders
