PrintNode is a cloud-based printing service designed to simplify and streamline remote printing for web based applications. It enables users to send print jobs to various printers connected to a computer or network from anywhere, eliminating the need for local print drivers or complex configurations.
Versa integrates with print node and this means you can print directly to the printer instead of waiting for the PDF to be displayed and then click print. You can use it to print Packing List, Shipping Label, Picklist and invoice.
You would first need to have PrintNode enabled for your account and been assigned print node user name and password. Contact support to have this set up.
First download the printnode client for your machine. Mac OS, Ubuntu and Windows are supported. Download it here.
Install the client to your machine and you will be asked to log in with user name and password. The client will auto detect printers accessible from your machine and you can choose to use them with PrintNode.
Next to the Versa and click on your user name at the bottom left, click on the menu item Network Printers. This page will show all the printers the PrintNode client have access to. You can choose to use different printer for your Packing List, Shipping Label, Picklist , Invoices or use the same printer for all.
Once the printer is setup, next time you print any of the documents, the print job is sent directly to your printer via PrintNode.
