Release Notes
[VA-9710] - The user can undo a production build by clicking on a button
- Versa has added a new feature called 'Unbuild' to the production build page. This will reverse the entire build by first reversing out the closing entry and then reversing out all the products committed. The Unbuild option will reverse the cost committed too. The timesheet is deleted if not posted.
- Versa has also, added a 'Reopen' button. The reopen button will only reverse the closing entry and remove the inventory produced. All the parts and labor(timesheet) committed to the build remain.
- Also added a new setting to Setup> Feature settings> BOM, and Allow Negative Inventory Resulting from Production Build/Work Order reversal. So if the inventory produced from the build is consumed (they are shipped via sales order, adjusted down, etc.), the user can turn on the setting and let the unbuild happen.
- This can happen easily in FIFO inventory costing mode since each build will create one FIFO bucket per closing. When inventory produced for a build is built, the used (shipping out), and the build is unbuilt, the FIFO bucket for the build will be negative. If the user closes the build again, we will reuse the same FIFO bucket from the previous build so that it will be brought back to positive. If the user never closes the build again, the negative will remain and it is something the user has to manually fix.
- In addition to this there is also, add a new setting in BOM>Hide Voided Inventory Commitments On Production Build and Work Order. This hides the voided cost committed (parts and labor) from the production build.
[VA-9714]- Warning about lack of Shipping Carrier set in orders when creating a Shipment Batch

- Versa will, also show the carrier information in the order status column when viewing a batch, this way, the user will know which order is lacking carrier information
