Release Notes
[VA-10296] - Add a new flag to the webstore setting for Shopify to force the product to be taxable
- When a new product is created, a tax code or tax record must be assigned to the product for the system to determine that the product is taxable, and the user would like to default all taxes published to Shopify to be taxable.
- For this, Versa has added a new setting in the webstore to force all products to be taxable.
[VA-10301] - Quick actions for items in Pulse
- From Ops Center / Pulse, users can open quick actions that draft customer- or supplier-facing emails tied to a specific item on that day's snapshot—for example:
- Accounts receivable: payment reminder for an invoice
Sales: reminder for a quote
Sales: reminder for an opportunity (sales order in opportunity mode)
Purchasing: supplier message for a purchase order
The body is AI-assisted from the document and Pulse context; the user should review and edit before sending. - If a reminder was already sent today for that invoice, quote, opportunity, or PO, they see a clear warning (including who sent it and when, in the org's time).
To send anyway, they must acknowledge that warning; the experience is designed so that step is hard to miss (prominent confirmation, including a modal where we use that pattern). - Versa keeps an audit trail of reminder-related actions (for example, when the email was composed vs. actually sent). That supports internal review, support questions, and future reporting. Snapshot metadata on those rows can still describe which Pulse day the action was tied to, while duplicate protection stays anchored to calendar day + document.
[VA-10149] - Allow Sales Channels to be Exclusive to Entity
- Versa will now allow Sales Channels to be Exclusive to an entity, like dimensions can be.
- This can be useful for Companies that have different entities and want to use different sales channels for their webstores, but don't want to create a long list of Sales Channels, or they don't want them visible on both entities, where mistakes can be made.
- On the new sales channel form, Versa has created a new checkbox when creating a new sales channel to say Global.
- When left unchecked, Versa will set the sales channel to the current entity.
- For the existing sales channel, the user cannot toggle the global checkbox.
