Release Notes
[VA-10137] - Add Phone Number as a Required Field for Sales Orders
- Versa has added a new setting in Setup> Feature Settings> Sales order> Phone Number is Required.
- When this is on, and the user creates a new ship to address or updates an existing ship to address (from sales order view and from customer show view), the phone number must be entered.
[VA-10313] - Add a setting to let the user choose the statues used to import the Woo order
- Currently, it is hard-coded to import Woo orders with a status of Processing.
- Versa has added an option to make this into a setting, and users can choose one or more statuses to use to import Woo orders.
[VA-10324] - Add setting to not create a subaccount for new tax
- The current pattern is that all new taxes created will have a new sub-account under the main taxes payable account. This does not work in the US, as there are multiple named taxes. So we need to make all taxes use the same taxes payable account unless the user explicitly chooses to use a dedicated GL account for a tax.
- For this, Versa has added a setting that will be set to off by default for new firms. Create new sub-accounts for new taxes. Existing firms will be on.
- Versa will create a migration that will migrate 6D to use the setting as off and migrate all existing taxes to use the parent taxes payable account. (except for those with a gl account that is not tax-payable). Also, move all accounting transactions against the sub-accounts to the parent.
[VA-10325] - Add ship to state filter to sales by product and service report, and also add it as a new column
- Versa has enabled filtering by service shipping.
- In addition, Versa has added a new column for the state so that users can see shipping by state.
[VA-10326] - Add dimension filters to Sales Tax by Invoice Line Item
- Versa has enabled filtering by dimension on the Sales Tax by Invoice Line item report.
