Release Notes
[VA-10386] - Show GL account in payment by supplier report
- Versa has added the GL account listed as a new column in the payment by supplier report. In addition to this, we have also created a datasource called payment by suppliers, so user can create their own report
[VA-9730] - Add a Note next to the Get Shipping Rate Section
- Versa has added a Note next to the Get Shipping Rates Sections on the Picklist and the New Shipment page stating that: The shipping rates shown are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed final charges. Actual carrier invoices may differ due to adjustments, surcharges, address corrections, package details, or other carrier fees. Please verify final charges with your carrier invoice.
[VA-10370] - Create insights under Ops Engine for customer reorder revenue
Reorder Revenue Opportunities
Summary
Reorder Revenue Opportunities is a new Ops Engine insight that finds customers who usually buy the same product on a repeat schedule but have not ordered again by the expected date. Each row shows the customer, product, days overdue, and an estimated missed reorder dollar value.
Sales users can review the list, open See Analysis for purchase history and an AI summary, dismiss items for 30 days, filter and export CSV, and follow links from Ops Center (Sales tab) and Pulse (Sales Pipeline card when opportunities exist). Detection thresholds are read-only on Pulse → Settings.
This is not the same as Pulse → Products to Reorder (inventory/purchasing).
Ops Engine → Insights
- New menu item: Reorder Revenue Opportunities (Beta label on page).
- List grouped by customer with product rows: last purchased, expected reorder, days overdue, est. opportunity, sales owner, optional Sales Order Channel column.
- Filters: customer, product, min opportunity, min days overdue, status (Active / Dismissed / Expired), sales owner, channel (when channels are used), snapshot date.
- See Analysis detail page: pattern metrics, purchase history chart, AI summary, qualification checks, link to invoice history report.
- Dismiss (eye-slash icon): hides an opportunity for 30 days.
- Download CSV with current filters.
- How to read this report: collapsible help on the list page.
Ops Center
- On the Sales tab: summary panel with active opportunity count, estimated total, and View report (matches selected snapshot date).
- Sales overview card total includes reorder opportunities for that date (reorder rows are not in the Sales item table).
Pulse
- When active opportunities exist: Sales Pipeline card shows count + estimated total, and View reorder revenue report.
- AI briefing mentions reorder revenue in the Sales Pipeline section only when active opportunities exist (no empty-state mention).
- Pulse → Settings: read-only detection thresholds for this insight.
[VA-10385] - Unposted transactions for credit card GL accounts do not remember past selections, and post transactions should use the payment method of credit card
- There is a "memory" feature where past posted transactions can influence how future unposted bank transactions can be posted by auto select gl accounts. User is reporting that the memory function is not working for gl account with the asset type of liability and subtype of credit card.
- When a transaction imported against a credit card is posted, the payment method chosen should be credit card and not cash.
[VA-10396] - Send daily email about pulse and momentum
Pulse morning digest email
Summary
Firm Admins can receive a weekday morning email (~7:00 AM in their default entity's timezone) with a Pulse and Business Momentum teaser: how many areas need attention, item counts by domain, and optionally the Pulse AI summary. The email contains no customer or document names. Users manage preferences on Pulse Settings. Existing Firm Admins are opted in by default after deployment.
Problem and why
Firm Admins benefit from Pulse and Business Momentum, but often do not log in every day. They needed a short, actionable inbox summary so they know where to focus before opening Versa. Full details stay in the app after login.
What changed
- New weekday morning digest email for users with Firm Admin permission (from Versa system mail, not the entity's SMTP).
- The email shows aggregate attention line, Open Pulse button, and one section per eligible entity (company name heading).
- Pulse section: domain display names with item counts only (e.g., "Accounts Receivable — 12 items to review"); optional high-priority count per domain.
- Business Momentum section (when applicable): neutral count only (e.g., "2 cards need your attention") — no KPI names, values, or percentages.
- Pulse Settings → Morning digest email: opt in/out and choose email content style (see below).
- Include domain counts and Momentum summary only (no AI summary) — checked by default: counts + Momentum only. Unchecked: Pulse AI summary plus item counts.
- Footer links to Pulse Settings to change notification preferences.
- No email is sent on weekends, when the user has opted out, when nothing needs attention, or when the same user already received a digest that calendar day.
- Pulse and Ops Engine mobile layout improvements (hamburger submenu, responsive tables) shipped in the same release.
- Email links to Pulse respect mandatory login steps (verification code, phone auth) before landing on Pulse.
Affected areas
- Pulse → Settings (new morning digest preferences)
- Pulse (landing, briefing modal, domain cards) — regression
- Business Momentum — regression (users with Momentum feature)
- Ops Engine mobile menu — regression
- Login/verification/phone authentication flow when opening links from the digest email
- Events log (firm-level event when a digest is sent)
- Users without Firm Admin permission must not see digest preferences or receive the email
- Muted Pulse domains on Pulse Settings — must be excluded from digest counts (same as in-app Pulse)
