Prepare buyer recommendations

Purchase Demand Review prepares purchase-demand recommendations so buyers can review what may need to be purchased and when.

It helps turn known demand into a focused buying review. Buyers still decide which recommendations to use and create Purchase Plans and purchase orders through the normal purchasing workflow.

Who can use this playbook?

Your company needs the Ops Agents feature. Users need their normal purchasing access to review demand; editing the playbook requires Ops Center Admin.

Where to find it

Select your entity.
Open Ops Engine > Agents.
Select Purchase Demand Review.
Open Ops Engine > Insights > Purchase Demand to review the results.

How it works

The playbook prepares purchase-demand results for the selected entity.
A buyer opens the Purchase Demand Insight to review the recommended work.
Use Planning Mode to create and manage Purchase Plans when a recommendation should become a purchase action.
Use the usual purchasing controls to create or change a purchase order.

What an administrator can customize

Choose Use target maximum stock as recommendation.
When this option is off, recommendations cover known sales orders, builds, and work orders only.
When this option is on, recommendations can also replenish toward the stock target.
Adjust the playbook’s run cadence and available review settings.

What does not change

Changing a setting affects future recommendations. It does not rewrite an existing Purchase Plan or purchase order, and it does not automatically create a purchase order.

If you do not see expected recommendations

Confirm the correct entity and your purchasing permissions.
Confirm that the playbook is active and wait for the next run after a setting change.
Review whether the product has demand or stock settings that match the selected recommendation option.
Ask an administrator to check the Ops Agents feature and your access.
