Sales staff send a reviewed Versa sales order to Nationwide Notice when it should become a new job there. Confirm the customer, items, and instructions first. Sending an order does not mean Nationwide Notice has completed the job.
Before you start
- Access: Your company needs Nationwide Notice Integration, a connection for this entity, and access to the sales order.
- Where: Open the sales order. An administrator maintains the connection under Integrations > Nationwide Notice.
Send and confirm the order
- Review the customer, delivery details, item lines, and instructions with the account owner. The action also appears for draft or on-hold orders, so confirm that the order is ready to send.
- Select Send to Nationwide as new job and confirm Are you sure you want to send this order to Nationwide Notice?
- On success, Versa says Order #... has been successfully sent to Nationwide Notice as a new job. Check the order's Nationwide Notice status and Job ID. You cannot send the same order again through this action.
What happens when you send
Versa also sends any existing invoices for that order to Nationwide Notice. There is no separate customer-facing invoice send action. Ask your Nationwide Notice contact to confirm a job exception that the recorded status does not explain.
If you cancel the order
When you cancel the order in Versa, it attempts to send a cancellation to Nationwide Notice automatically. Confirm receipt with Nationwide Notice. If the integration fails, the Versa cancellation still completes.
If you don't see what you expect
- Send action missing or disabled: Check the company feature, selected entity, connection, and whether the order already has a Nationwide Notice Job ID.
- Configuration notice after clicking: Ask the administrator to check the connection and its access token. The button can appear even without a token.
- Send failed or the response is uncertain: Review the failure notice and confirm whether the order reached Nationwide Notice before trying again.
