AI Report Summaries

Report users can use an AI Summary to identify questions worth investigating in a supported report. Check important statements against the report and its source records before making a decision.

Before you start

You need Reports access. An administrator must turn on AI Summary of Report under Setup > Feature Settings > AI Agent for the entity. Only some reports support AI summaries.

Read the summary with the report

1. Select the entity, open the report under Reports, set its dates and filters, and run it. Check the title and resulting table.
2. Wait for Generating AI summary, then select View AI Summary. Compare its statements with the report's entity, period, filters, totals, and exception rows. Open source records behind material statements.
3. If you change filters or dates, run the report again and use the summary for that result.
4. Share the verified finding and assign any follow-up through your normal business process. Keep the report or source record as the basis for a material decision.

If you don't see what you expect

• Not eligible message: This report does not support an AI summary, even if View AI Summary appears.
• No summary appears: Check the entity setting, report eligibility, and whether the report returned useful results.

A summary may omit work tracked outside Versa and does not change any transactions.
